Lake of Stars Malawi Arts Festival Returns with 2026 Dates

 
   
 

The Lake of Stars Malawi Arts Festival 2026 will take place from 2 to 4 October in Nkhotakota. Celebrating more than two decades of impact, the festival continues to showcase Malawi’s arts, culture, and tourism on a global stage. Building on previous editions, this year’s festival theme is “Festivals with Purpose – Inspire, Connect, Invest, Celebrate.” The 2026 programme will feature a vibrant mix of Fashion, Waste and visual arts, Crafts and cuisine, Music (live bands, DJs, amapiano, afro-beats, jazz, rap, RnB) Folklore, Storytelling and more.

Chimwala Bush Camp Reopens In Liwonde After Extensive Renovations

 
   
 

Chimwala Bush Camp has officially reopened for bookings following an extensive renovation and full overhaul, welcoming guests back to one of Malawi’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Tucked against Chinguni Hill and sheltered by mopane and miombo woodland, the camp overlooks the floodplain in the southern section of Liwonde National Park. Constructed from local rock and thatch, Chimwala Bush Camp offers an intimate safari experience in a small, private setting.
